Finally a Home Win! Unterhaching vs. Saarbrücken

February 16, 2025 will go down in the season's history books – at least for all Haching fans! Because on this day, it finally happened: SpVgg Unterhaching earned a well-deserved 2–0 home win against 1. FC Saarbrücken. And of course, our stadium regulars Hao and Korbi were there live once again. Good spirits before kickoff: Even before the match, the mood was exuberant. Hao and Korbi, by now experts in stadium catering, treated themselves to the traditional stadium sausage. “Today feels like three points!” Korbi predicted with a broad grin. And he was right. A dream start for Haching: From the very beginning, Unterhaching showed that they wanted to win this game. In the 12th minute, the stadium was already shaking – 1–0 for Haching! A great attack, finished ice-cold. Hao jumped up, threw his arms in the air and shouted: “This is going to be our day!” Korbi, on the other hand, stayed cool: “As long as we don't concede a late goal…” But this time, everything was different. Haching stayed focused, defended cleverly and gave the visitors from Saarbrücken hardly any chances. When the 2–0 came in the 68th minute, the celebrations knew no bounds. “Unbelievable, we're really two goals up!” Hao laughed, while Korbi just nodded and treated himself to another drink – to celebrate the day, of course. Final whistle and pure ecstasy: The last few minutes dragged on, but when the referee finally blew the whistle, the stadium erupted in cheers. A home win! Three points! At last! Hao and Korbi fell into each other's arms – the wait had been worth it. “That was pure football magic!” Hao summed up the afternoon. Korbi, however, had only one thing on his mind: “And now a big portion of sweet and sour duck to celebrate!” Once again, a big thank you goes to blu and the management for making football experiences like this possible. Because win or lose – days like these stay with you forever!
